The tote bag is made entirely by hand using only natural ingredients. The leather is dried in the sun, then tanned using natural methods. Only natural ingredients are used for tanning, including saffron, indigo and even poppy seeds. Natural tanning gives the leather a unique, natural look that develops a patina over time. Leather can be dyed, but only to enhance its natural color. For this purpose, special vegetable oils are used that either enhance the natural brown of the leather or only slightly tone it and also impregnate the leather against moisture.
